Mrs. McNamara teaches Spanish I to 8th grade students. The Spanish I course is equivalent to that taught at the high school level. Students who earn a grade of "C" or better will be able to enter Spanish II at the High School.
 
Mrs. McNamara also teaches one period of Exploratory Spanish for 6th graders. This is a one-semester introductory course.
New to our program this year is the Spanish IA course for 7th graders. This course covers the first semester of Spanish I over the course of the year. Students who earn a "C" or better in Spanish IA will take Spanish IB in the 8th grade.
