Welcome to the 2008-09 year!
Class information is provided here so that students and parents can keep track of the long-term goals and projects due for each class. Important dates will also be listed as they come up. Ms. Woo and Mrs. Garcia would be happy to reply to any specific homework questions by e-mail or by phone.
Practice makes permanent!! To keep up with the rigors of each class, we recommend that students practice, or do some sort of musical activity (clapping and counting, practicing with the mouthpiece, or just fingering, etc.) on a DAILY basis. It is most beneficial to have a set practice schedule, a quiet place to practice, and a music stand to hold up the music to promote good playing posture. Students in ALL classes are required to turn in a weekly parent-signed Practice Report.

QOTWs (Question of the Week)
QOTWs are assigned to Periods 1, 3, 5 every Wednesday and Periods 2, 4 will be assigned every Tuesday.
All QOTWs are due every Friday (unless that Friday is a block day).
